Wellness is more than the absence of problems. It is the capacity to live with presence, connection, and meaning, without needing life to be different first. I believe the resources for healing already exist within us, sometimes buried under pain, fear, or old survival strategies, but always waiting to be reawakened. My role is to help you uncover those inner resources with care, curiosity, and respect for your lived experience.
A central part of how I work is body-based and nervous-system informed. The nervous system is not separate from your story. It shapes how you think, choose, connect, and protect yourself. Emotions are the mind’s reading of bodily sensations. When we learn to listen to that language more accurately, the work becomes less about forcing change and more about creating the conditions for integration, steadiness, and real choice.
I work with adults and couples navigating challenges that impact their relationships, sense of self, and everyday functioning. I also hold a contextual lens: many struggles are understandable adaptations to chronic stress and disconnection, not personal failures. Naming that clearly can reduce shame and make room for agency. My areas of specialty include:
PTSD and Trauma (EMDR)
I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients process traumatic experiences and reduce the intensity of triggers, intrusive memories, and nervous system reactivity. EMDR allows us to work with the emotional imprint of trauma, not just the story of what happened, but how it still lives in the body. The goal is greater steadiness, clarity, and agency.
OCD (ERP)
I’m trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD. ERP is structured and practical. We identify the OCD cycle, gradually face feared triggers, and practice resisting compulsions so the nervous system can relearn safety and uncertainty tolerance. Over time, clients reclaim energy, time, and freedom that OCD has been taking.
ADD/ADHD (Neurodiversity-informed)
I approach ADHD not as a pathology, but as a neurodivergence: a different way of regulating attention, emotion, and the body, with real strengths and real challenges. When ADHD is misunderstood, it can lead to chronic conflict, shame, and distrust in relationships. We work to name patterns clearly, strengthen follow-through, and build supports for time management, transitions, overwhelm recovery, and steadier communication, so daily life becomes more workable and relationships can repair.
Technology Addiction and Misuse
I use a systemic lens that views people as part of an ecological network: families, peers, schools, work demands, and digital environments all shape our relationship with technology. Rather than focusing on moralizing or shame, we work toward sustainable, values-aligned digital habits that support focus, connection, and rest. We map the loop, identify the moments when you feel pulled into impulsivity, and redesign the environment with realistic boundaries and supports. My approach draws from Self-Determination Theory and Motivational Interviewing to support change that is internally owned rather than imposed.
Men’s Work (Individual and Group)
For men who are drawn to a deeper path of growth, I offer individual therapy and, when appropriate, men’s group work rooted in Jungian archetypes and shadow integration. This work strengthens emotional intelligence, relational integrity, and embodied presence. It is especially helpful for men who want to break recurring patterns, show up differently in intimate relationships, and live with more steadiness and purpose.
Across all of my work, I bring an integrative perspective that blends neuroscience, attachment theory, mindfulness, and systemic thinking. I also provide consultation and training for clinicians, schools, and healthcare systems seeking to better understand technology addiction and promote digital wellness.
